Mary Fell Stevenson Chapter, NSDAR
National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution
Black Diamond, Washington State - Serving Southeast King County

Welcome to Mary Fell Stevenson DAR Chapter
I am honored to serve as the Mary Fell Stevenson Chapter, NSDAR, regent. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a non-profit, non-political women's volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through education. Our members can trace their bloodline lineage to a Patriot in the American Revolutionary War, and our volunteer service to our local community is how we honor our ancestors’ spirit and sacrifice.

Inspirational Scripture: Love your neighbor as yourself. Matt. 22:39

As Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Covington, and Maple Valley and the surrounding areas grow, it is our mission as Mary Fell Stevenson Daughters of the American Revolution to reach out to those around us. It is easy to think nationally as our patriotism is directed to service of God, home and country, but American history is not only the history of nationhood, it is the history of thousands of local communities, like ours, whose history and ancestors tell a unique part of the overall story. Over these next two years, let's find more ways to be patriotic, educate, and involve ourselves in historic preservation activities right here in Black Diamond, Washington. Let's make Mary Fell Stevenson Chapter "make a difference".
