Regent’s Project
Each State Regent brings her own unique voice to this office and her special project is a reflection of that voice. My administration’s emphasis will be one of service to others but more specifically having each Chapter engage in a service project. Transformative volunteering is the voluntary giving of one’s time, knowledge, or expertise for the benefit of another without any expectation of direct compensation. The “reward” is typically the knowledge that one has been able to make a difference by solving a problem or advancing A successful service project is a gift for both parties – the giver and the recipient. Since service to others defines our DAR Society, the goal of my administration will be for each Chapter to attempt a project never done by it before. Let us lead by example, for "Together we can do so much" and I thank you for supporting my State Regent’s project.
